Fairway on Route 46 has 4packs for $30 which isn't bad. Somehow though they're charging $30 for one 750ml bottle! Who would buy the big bottle when you can get twice as much for the same price? Bottle King Livingston had both sizes as of this morning. Bottle King Wayne bad 12oz bottles today, not sure about 750s.

Again, it was probably priced incorrectly. While I agree that some prices stores are charging are absurd, you just got lucky.

Maxes Liquor in Neptune NJ has them 2 bottle limit, 9.99 a bottle.

Well after passing on the $9.99 a bottle, I found myself in Wegmans and took a chance on a $12.99 four pack of Saranac Basking in Bourbon instead. I'm sure it's not as good but how bad could it be? Down with overcharging!!

I have always thought people in FL were nutty...now I'm sure! Highly doubt this anyway since a 4 pack sold at Founders for $24.

Huge haul in Southern NJ. So far. 3 four packs and an extra bottle plus one Parabola. Had to hit three stores but my connections came through. Day 2 tomorrow. Packs were between $23-$25. Single bottle was $6.50. Got the Parabola for $10. Happy as a pig in shit

Got 2 bottles at a "premium" price of $9.99... but it saved me from driving around like I did last year. I hated that.

Damn! Over a half case and you're going back out for more? And I passed on getting one bottle. God bless.

As I said above, I verified the price at the counter for a 4 pack. I even purchased a single bottle, do you want me to dig up the receipt and show you the picture of the bottle I drank? Why would I waste my time lying about this?

My local store in NY has 12oz bottles for $7, still dramatically cheaper than what you guys are paying. So even if WF Miami made a mistake, my original statement applies.

I got a few four packs of SMS instead this year. At almost half the price it satisfies my barrel aged needs for the year, saves money, and you don't have to chase. I suggest you guys try it. Just leave some for me if you do.

Just a personal observation but it seems to me there is more KBS in NNJ than in previous years. I easily picked up 8 12 oz. bottles and passed on a bomber at Gary's. I paid between $7.99 and $10.00. I didn't stop at my "go to" bottle shop where I usually can buy at least 2. I didn't spend as much time looking as I used to. It just seems like more is available.

ShopRite liquor Northvale has 12oz for $10 and 750ml for $22, limit 1 bottle per person. Not sure how that works with the different formats but whatever. Sipping it now, and feels less boozy than it felt last year. I quite like it. Not sure if it's worth a revisit for this year though at those prices.

Maybe not more available, just less people chasing it? I used to go all over for this years ago, now I really have no interest.

Could be a combo of both. I saw way more SMS out in the wild this year. Same with the KBS. Maybe less chasing also because we have way more options available.

Of course it helps if you have your own brewery and can put out amazing beers whenever you feel like it too!!!
There does seem to be more KBS out there this year though. Shops that had limits of 1 bottle in past years are now selling 4 packs. But once everyone realizes there's more out there they will probably stop chasing it.

Canals in rio grande last year got 10 cases. Said not as much this year. A couple other places that had 3/4 cases last year got one case of 4 packs and 1 bomber case.
