KBS in our area

the park slope food coop got 2 cases in today, $4.79 / bottle, and since it's the food coop, no limits or anything. i bought a couple 4 packs and left the rest for fellow coop-ers.

 

I've done the orientation, but my wife and I didn't pull the trigger on actually signing up. It's only when KBS is released that I regret that decision....

 

Love those guys. Surprised they're being so reasonable

 

WF Union Square still has some as of this morning. 1pp - $5.99+tax.
I used to be a Park Slope Food Co-Op member but quit - too far from Bay Ridge for me, and a large percentage of the people who shop there (present company excluded, of course) are the god-awful worst, most insufferable people in the world.

 

all the bottles at beer pantry were spoken for apparently, and as of this morning they had no more.

 

Maybe I'll take a trip down during lunch, but I suspect given this post there is going to be a mad rush on WF Union Sq!

 

WF Chelsea supposed to get some in this afternoon. I spoke to the beer guy yesterday afternoon.

 

between all the whole foods, maybe someone can actually assemble a 4-pack

 

I was able to pick up a 4 pack from my local Key Food. They got a case total. Just lucky they have a good beer selection for a grocery store.

 

Is it the one in prospect heights near the 7th ave subway? I'm down by prospect park so only two stops away on the subway

ohh..there is a KF right around the corner from my apt...gonna have to swing by there after work

Called Prospect Heights Beer Works and they are sold out as well. Any ideas if anywhere still has some? I was only able to get one bottle so far at my local beer distro. I tried calling Key Food in Williamsburg and according to the person I spoke to they didn't have any.

 

WF Chelsea has as of 2PM. 1pp $5.99. Gotta ask the guy behind the cheese counter (no joke)

WF Chelsea employees are kind of hoarding bottles. Just saw one get his friend to buy a bottle for him. Its to be expected with anything that the customers are asking for in abundance.

 

Yeah, to be expected. Saw the bartender at Top Hops put a 4-pack aside while I was grabbing a beer. I was the second guy in line at Top Hops that didn't score, so I would've gotten one. Can't blame him though!

 

i enjoy the chase as much as the next guy..but theses are little 12oz bttls... this stuff shows up for growler fills thru the year..did it 3 times last year..so dont get too hung up folks...imo

 

Whole Foods in Park Slope had 1 bottle per person also. Picked up yesterday. Not sure if any left but nothing out on rack. You have to ask for it.
