I know this hasn't come out yet and may take awhile to hit stores by us, but has anyone heard about any stores that started selling tickets or creating waiting lists yet?
Most of the regular Philly shops (Beer Heaven, The Foodery, Hawthornes, etc) havent done lists and all that nonsense the past couple years...it's been more of a "here it is, 1-2 per person, like $10 a bottle" kind of thing. I seem to get less and less of this every year so I expect to get one, or none this time around.
What Nick said is 100% accurate. Most bottle shops will put it out not to too much fanfare since they'll only get a case or two of it. Anyone who does tickets or a lotto or whatever, well y'all can knock yourselves out because I won't be taking part in it.
If your place sells a lot of Founders then they should be getting some KBS. That or they made a deal to buy a lot more Founders in the future.
I dunno if this is tap or bottles (I think tap), but KBS is showing up at Railroad St. bar (Linfield, PA) tonight at 6pm.
