On another note, I was lucky enough to get to MI for the release and get my supply. Tried my first bottle tonight and can say it's probably the best version in at least the last 4 years...not to mention the higher ABV. Best of luck to all KBS seekers this year

 

Any ideas where I can get it in Jersey Cty and Bayonne area?

If you want to go to NYC Top Hops is releasing on April 1st. Tickets handed out at 5 pm for 2 bottles and a 10oz draft pour.

 

for northern monmouth county, its usually the first day hunterdon normally comes after the distribution date. so for most stores around here it should be a week from today.

 

I also had a bottle the other night, and it is WAY better than the last two years easily. More coffee presence in both the nose and taste. Not hot at all either IMO considering the abv, it is pretty lethal.

 

Looks like some places in the city are getting it in all ready. Whole foods chelsea told me next week though... Anyone have word on other locations?

 

Churchkey (DC) is tapping a keg tomorrow, still haven't heard anything about bottle releases in the area though

 

Tribeca Whole Foods has it in, 2 per person

 

Top Hops has an event/Release tomorrow, and Growler & Grill has a release on saturday

 

Buyrite in Jersey City says they will get it in next week

Bergen county NJ . No go until week. It's all about distribution/delivery dates. Tried 3 of my local places in Bergen county NJ . Nothing yet. NOW if I was to drive over the border into New York State .. It might be a different "thing"...

Yea, seems like it's hit every WF in the city. Nice price too, 5.99 per bottle. Much better than Brooklyn Harvest Market on Union, which is charging $7.99 a bottle and forces you to buy a 4-pack or 6-pack of Founders in order to purchase one bottle. And they got something like 18 cases too. That store remains the worst.

 

I think Growler & Gill posted they'd tap keg and start bottles tomorrow (Friday)

 

Capone's in East Norriton, PA has bottles in, limit 2 per person, not sure of cost yet, picking mine up today.

 

When it comes to beer, isn't WF always the cheapest in NYC? Their food prices however...
