Look at the bottom of the bottles. I think they started adding the year on the labels either last year or this year, but all of their bottles have numbers correlating to the year on the glass.

Well hopefully they are storing it at cellar temperature. But either way, storage space isn't free.

Yep, poor math. Nonetheless, a 6-year vertical for $25 is reasonable to me.

Cause verticals are cool and require you to actually save the beer. I definitely think 25 is fair.

Carmine's beer in the village has 2 bottles 7.99 each or one 32oz growler for 24.99. I picked up the growler about ten minutes ago and they still had about 7 bottles behind the counter

Yea, I think it's this. Most people that were hunting it picked it up 1-2 weeks ago, and now people are hunting for Grimm and Parabola so KBS has become an afterthought.

I just remember last year they did their release a couple weeks after most places and growler fills were gone a couple hours after it was tapped and they did 1 bottle per person. Seems like there was more KBS to go around this year.

I think the price was fair and like you said would they lie for that little amount of money, anyway I have one 2014 and its dated on the shoulder in yellow ink.

Similar experience. I just popped into a shop I haven't been to in a while and was surprised to see some up on the counter. It wasn't priced so I asked, $9.99 and I passed. As a matter of fact nothing was priced in the shop. Maybe they are in the middle of rearranging?
