KBS-NC

I'm Not sure what all they get and what they don't exactly, but in the past I've gotten KBS, Hopslam, and Grapefruit Sculpin there. You have to track someone in that area down and ask them for it. Then they'll disappear into the back for what seems like a lot longer than it should take and come back sometimes a whole 4/6-pack and sometimes just one bottle.

 

Cool, thanks. Yeah, I was at the Whole Foods in Cary one time and I asked about a beer that was making the rounds locally and the woman who was stocking the beer section had no idea what I was talking about.

 

Which reminds me of when I went to the new Triangle Wine Co. location in Cary the week of Black Friday and asked if they would be getting any Bourbon County.

Guy says "Is that a beer?"

 

Should make for some good April Fools Day jokes tomorrow on whether places have it or not.

 

Hope ya'll get to enjoy some for me! I doubt we will see so much as an ounce of it here in Greenville. If we do it'll be several months after everyone else. I love this part of the state but it can be very frustrating sometimes.

 

It dropped at Tasty at noon. 2 bottle limit. Might be gone by now though.

 

I wonder if the triangle got more or less now with expanded distro in other states. And then there is the growing number of bottles shops in the area alone.

 

Any word if they're putting their CBS keg on? Or did I already miss that?

 

CBS keg at Ridgewood has come and gone. KBS should be available at places you should already know about.

That's no doubt. The question is just when. Last year they threw their KBS keg on randomly the day of the U.S./Germany World Cup game.

 

They are still sitting on it. I assumed once KBS hit we'd see some word on CBS/KBS tappings but nothing yet. I'm headed out of town so I hope they hold off!!

In WS, Finnigan's, Mellow and 1st St got KBS kegs. Finnigan's is tapping next Thursday. No word on the others yet.

 

Thanks for the info. Im kind of expecting them to just tap it tonight with no announcement. We'll see.

Appalachian Vintner in Asheville just got theirs in 30 mins ago or so

 

Beer Study just tapped a keg of KBS...

 

Greenlife in Asheville still had some left as of 3pm today. They don't have it out, you have to ask for it.

 

I did and got 2, 4 packs out of the last case.... Kind of feel lucky. Shout out to App. Vintners for pointing me there. Awful helpful, everyone that works there... You too Immortale25!

Total Wine in GSO will get theirs tomorrow, I was lucky to grab a four pack at Bestway tonight, some poor souls didn't get any
