In anticipation of KBS's arrival in MA, I was curious as to what any of you have shelled out for a 4pk or whatever packaging it is sold in. Hoping it's no more than $7 per bottle, which is what I usually pay for BCBS.

2010 the price was pretty close to what you anticipated a sold $6.50 a single or 25 a four pack
Now singles get as expensive as 10-15 dollars never seen a four pack in years, but checking the KBS form I see people pay around 40 a four pack.

Man I wish this beer wasn't so rare...

It's usually $20/4pk in my area, but it will obviously vary all over..

Think last year here in Nj bottles went between 6-8, if anybody actually found a 4 pk I'd be shocked but not totally bc I know at least one store dispersed their alotment that way : /

I thought this was about $20 a 4-pack last year, maybe a couple bucks more?

4.75$ a bottle at the release, or 19$ for a 4-pack. Those are the Founders prices.

$20ish bucks for a 4pack sounds fine for a one-time a year purchase of a world-class beer - getting a text from my local store any day now... Hope you all get your hands on some

here in western Wisconsin I payed 17.99 for a 4 pack last year. Had to work a little to get one, will not be doing that again, If I fall in to one though I will pay that again as it appears to be on the cheap end of things.

Is this comparable to Backwoods in terms of being able to get it? I'm clueless, I mean I know its extremely limited an all, but am I going to have to camp outside to get it? Sorry to hijack the thread but I've been meaning to ask those with prior experience who've gottin it in MA.

Pretty sure it's supposed to arrive in MA around the 2nd or 3rd according to whispers I've heard, but who knows. I'm sure Julio's will be getting some, if you're anywhere close to them.

The funny thing is, the only reason I got a 4 pack is that some one bought one and decided to return it for being to expensive:slight_smile:!

I understand Founder's KBS has recently been released or will be soon. I called my local Friar Tucks here in St. Louis, MO and inquired about it. They said they would have it April 1st or 2nd. Then I asked about the price. They told me they were going to break the four packs down and sell individual 12oz bottles for $6.99 a piece with a limit of two per customer because they are not getting a large shipment.

Is this pricing normal for this beer? I am new to KBS and have never had it before. Thanks!

In the past in Wisconsin it has ranged from about $20-22/4pk., so seeing it at $6.99, while steep, is not unheard of. Likely it'll reach $9.99/btl. in some areas.
