I would say that is the standard.

Seems normal, even by Michigan standards.

SE Michigan saw prices in the $5.75 - $10 range per 12oz.

I think 6.99 a piece is fair if you want to try it for the first time. Most draft beers near me approach that level. I wouldn't pay 6.99 for EVERY beer I ever bought, but for a special treat why not.

I found a single for 8.50 in grand rapids and the whole pack for $34

I felt pretty good about it

The most I paid was 12$ that was a huge mistake. Cheapest I paid was 5.50$ Overall the average was probably around 7.99$

It really varies from retailer to retailer but the prices posted so far seem about right.

Even if it should be 4.99, who would quibble over a couple bucks? Count your blessings, most of us won't even see it...

Felt good about almost 100% over charge in the state that it's made?!

I'm on Founders mailing list and copy and pasted this from an email I received today. Can't help with prices as it varies from state to state and store to store.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for our second annual KBS Week in Grand Rapids. KBS will be available starting Monday, March 30, across our distribution footprint.

Yes. I talked to 10 different liquor stores there and they all ran out the day it came in except for one.

I got mine from grocery stores, so not a lot of gouging and no breaking up packs. Cost was 21.19 and 21.99 before tax and deposit. Came out to almost $24 after that, so $6 a bottle.

If you want some, and you can actually get it. 6.99 seems like a fine price.

How much is it worth to you?

I know here are people that will pay it in a heartbeat, but that is too much. That is why they were the only store with it... Some people don't like getting gouged.

The problem is you are helping them justify their cost, saying you didn't mind when in reality it should not be sold for that price. It is letting them know that it is okay to price gouge.

And yes, if you didn't buy it, somebody else would. And many many other places will do the same. But they should not be selling it for that. Founders has posted on Facebook before to let them know if places are gouging, they don't like it either...

I've seen it at $5.49, $5.99, $6.99, $8, and $12.99 (2 places) in metro Detroit. 1-2 bottle limit at all places.
