KBS Price

Does the price really matter if you want this really want this beer.

 

I gave the owner of my favorite liquor store two pints of my wife's home canned salsa just so he will save me two bottles and sell them to me for $6.99 apiece Been trying for several years to get some KSB.

 

Doesn't matter in cost. Be sold out in 38 seconds here anyhow

 

You should try for KBS not KSB : )

 

Out of pure luck I found three 4-packs of 2010 KBS a year ago for $22.99 each. That got me a LOT of beer. Now it's either I won't get it at all, or one to two bottles for 7 bucks each. At least I still have one '14 left so I get to taste the goodness again. Unless someone robs me.

 

I had Founders CBS at a tap take over. 12.99 a 10oz snifter. KBS around these part's it goes from 6-9 $ for the single. Last year I picked up six of them.

 

I paid $6.99 a bottle at two places. I know of a few places that gouge it up to $10 or more. I avoid those places.

 

Paid $8 per bottle at 2 different stores in Brighton. My buddy in Royal Oak said he paid $10 per bottle.

 

$20-25 a 4-pack.

 

Metro-Detroit area, $8 to $10 at some of the bottleshops around here, one bottle limit. I gotta start checking grocery stores.

 

All these less than a 4-pack per person limits are bs.

 

First time I ever got KBS.. paid $14.99 for a 4 pack... been 3-4 years now.. haven't been able to buy a 4 pack since.

If you want it, you can take it, or leave it. Price gouging will happen because we are at fault for hyping it up online and in the local beer scene.

 

The best place to get it is the brewery when they put it on sale. I have been fortunate to buy tickets the past two years and fingers are crossed for next year.

Which stores did you find it at? I was tempted to try Hiller's and Busch's, I thought they might be the best bet but I wasn't excited to go driving around looking for them.

I do not want to give up my secret places, but aside from picking up my allotment from Founders, I found a 4 pack at a local grocery store, and 2 bottles(2 bottle limit) at another. The 4 pack was 20.00, two bottles were 6.00 each.

 

I got lucky at a really small market here, and missed out at a local spartan store by about an hour. Had to be on your game and know what day they were getting it since it showed all over the place though out the week.

The small market, I got lucky, called them, they said it came in that day and would I like one held? Too easy. Texted my coworker and he called, they said sold out.

 

Glad I'm not a huge fan of BB stouts...this shit is getting outta hand

 

Have not had any desire to go out and try to find it. Friends of mine payed 28 a 4pk somewhere in VA.
