KBS Thursday?

In Chicago the limit will most-likely be one bottle, and most people won't get one.

 

Not sure on the cost. In the mid-Michigan area, there will probably be a limit of 1 four-pack. I hope to secure 3-4 from various shops around the area, but the demand is ridiculous for this beer.

 

I have a 4-pack reserved at $22.99.

I really wish this beer was released in autumn or early winter. I'm already in maibock/pilsner mode.

 

My local Total Wine said $21.99 for a 4-pack. Hoping to try as much as I can (never had it before).

 

I'll either get miraculously lucky and get a case (since I'd have to in PA from Founders' distributor) or more likely spend $6-7 on one bottle from the only shop that I know will get a little of it. In order to do that I'll have to wait for the email about it coming in and fly over there too. Shit is nuts.

 

My bottle shop puts all this type of special release stuff in the far back of a walk-in cooler, pretty much totally out of sight. It's a suburban area so they don't get much - I'm guessing they'll get a single case of KBS, and they don't advertise it or even tell strangers they have it if they come in asking for it and I like it that way.

 

I expect nothing therefore I am not disappointed and prices range from $5 - $9 per bottle. Limits are always in place. It is either limited to one bottle per customer or one 4-pack per customer and generally if a store gets any its usually one case behind the counter or one bottle on the shelf at a time until someone buys it.

 

It dropped in Atlanta today. 2 bottle limit. $5 each.

 

founders ditribution for there special release stuff has sucked around here lately. My usual store is only getting one four pack when they typically get at least a case. Supposedly its going to me but I'm not getting my hopes up too high. I didnt even ask what the price would be.

 

Went to Founders Saturday moring... Got there too late... Was an hour before opening and there was almost 1000 people in line already ( no exaggeration!) BUT.. my local store is getting some and the owner and I are Buddies.. so I get at least a 4 pack saved .... gonna be about $19.00 and some change here...

 

bottle limits will be the rule here some store's will put what they have out and others will have special release such as 4 or 5 pm

 

Talked to numerous stores around here....1 btl limit everywhere, I am guessing $7ish/btl. Meh.

 

I think, or at least HOPE that I can have a 4 pack reserved. Scary thing is I didn't ask the price in advance... Now, I'll feel like a douche if I had the guy hold it and then recant because he wants $40.

So....it's gone from a most excellent extra included in trades to a rarity? It sounds a lot like Goose Island's Bourbon County Brand Stout in that respect. Dang.

was told the end of the week and should secure 2 4packs from 2 stores. last year was 19.99 should be close to that
