If you still have BCBS and BCBBW on the shelves I will gladly send cash. It went in a few days here even at $10 per bottle gouging spots. KBS has been gone in minutes and I have not been able to get any.

I've had KBS numerous times and it just never does it for me. Don't know why. I would almost pay for a bottle of bcbs over a free bottle of KBS (almost )

I've seen them for $21 in three different stores. All have plenty

Exactly. If priced "reasonably" it would fly off the shelves here in Philly!

Meanwhile I walked into the local 7-11 and they had a case of KBS sitting on the shelf for 19.99 a four pack, no limits. There is also some luck involved.

I think it was harder to get bcbs here in michigan then kbs. I got mine in chicago on black friday and when the michigan release came it was 1 bottle max at all my go to stores. Where KBS, if you know where to go you can buy a full case no problem.

Yea seriously. It seems everything is cheaper in RI. When they first got it, it was around $22 for a 4 pack but they have lowered the price a few times since they seem to have so much extra stock. The same 4 pack of BCBS in NY would run be like 25-26$ without the tax.

That price is straight ridiculous. That should still be on the shelf next year at that price. In about 4 years that might be an ok price.

    BCBS is sixtels.

not that this is necessarily the case but i've pointed out i don't know how many times - the quality of the barrels does matter & that's where the true brand names associated with spent barrels MIGHT make some difference. it isn't the number of barrels a brewer purchases/receives that is most important, it's what amount of usable product & final yields they wind up with in at the end of the process that really matters. remember GI's wheated Rebel Yell BCBS circa 2011??

another thing i would point out, we know Heaven Hill has discontinued a lot of aged product the last couple of years. could it be that the 2,500 barrel statement was an ambitious estimate that wasn't realistically attainable?

I paiid $27.99 for a 4 pack of BCBS just the other day in Connecticut, bottled November 1, 2013. There was one more 4 pack and a BCBW 4 pack. The shop owner said he forgot them in the back. Who knows.

Wish I had that problem! BCBS doesn't even get distributed to my state.

BCBCS runs $17.49 at a local big chain liquor store. I was able to buy two 4 packs there, the others were like $19.99. Not to mention I think it's better than KBS

i have a guy, his store got LOTS of BCS and variants....lets say multiple cases of each....and ONLY 1 CASE of KBS...BSC was gone in a week, only because they limited what you could buy and tried to share the love, the KBS was gone in a day...but that was 6 x 4packs...

Yeah this is weird. I have a dearth of BCBS right now, and could go out and grab some 4packs tomorrow if I wanted. Or if anyone else wanted? I had to use connections to get 4 KBSs at 1perpersonperplace (pppp, as I'm going to start calling it).

Would love some bcbs/varients right now. One store still had some in Maryland about a month ago but they cost 9.99 each for regular and 12.99 for coffee and barleywine. Between that and the 6pk of otwoa for a few bucks more ill take wings.

BCBS is better anyway.....more vanilla flavors and less bitter than KBS. One of the reasons KBS is so popular is because of the hype. The hype is responsible for creating such a strong demand....as happens with any product, even if it not that good. Not saying KBS is bad by any means, but the hype is driving the train here....buy yourself that bottle of BCBS and sit back and enjoy with a smile!
