KBS vs. BCBS: Which is easier to get?

Got 16 BCBS and 1 KBS

 

This is the first year I've tried to get KBS and I've put no effort into BCBS because I didn't have the time, but I know people who were able to get half cases or cases of BCBS with the same amount of effort I put in to get one bottle of KBS, so.

 

Living in GR, ten minutes from Founders this is a no brainer. Already I've scored two cases of '15 KBS. I think I managed 4-4pks of '14 BCBS.

 

This was the first year I made an effort to get both. All told, I was able to find 3 BCBS bottles (all singles) and 7 KBS (3 singles and a 4-pack). I visited/contacted more stores during the BCBS hunt.

 

Changes year on year. This year I've found BCBS to be easier, but not by as much as the previous year (meaning KBS has gotten easier to get, not that BCBS has gotten harder)

 

I didn't have much of a problem acquiring either one of them during this past release. BCBS got the vote for being easier only because I didn't have to buy a ticket and drive to Michigan to get it.

 

I voted for BCBS because in my experience (I live in Des Moines) the all the stores had the BCBS in advance of Black Friday so you could just go line up when the stores opened and buy some then if you were so inclined. Whereas, I believe KBS was being delivered all over town throughout the day by the distributor, so it was much harder to know when and where to be to strike gold on the KBS. I happened to have real good timing myself last week and got 2 4-pks of KBS, but I know of a lot of others who were not nearly as lucky. Also, I struck out last year on KBS release day due to being unlucky on timing.

 

Well they don't sell BCBS in Ohio because of the ABV, and KBS came to several stores in my area, so I had to vote KBS. I would love to get some BCBS or BCBCS though!

 

My vote was based on Ohio's 12% ABV cap and not having to cross any state lines

 

locally it would be bcbs and its not even close. kbs availability is closer to bcbcs

 

In New York City, the bottle limits are much more conservative on the KBS compared to the BCBS (except for the Vanilla Rye variety - that was super hard to get and much more expensive).

 

BCBS for sure, and it's better too.

 

at my job we had two pallets of bcbs just sitting forever last year...
I wish kbs was cake to acquire like bcbs...

 

It's been about the same for the past years or me

 

Walked right in and out on BCBS release day, plus found a lingering six a month after release. Walked right in and out with KBS, sans wait or drama on release day for KBS, yet to find it lingering. So easiness would likely be a tie, but BCBS perhaps was a bit more plentiful?
