So which of these is harder to get? I had no problem getting black note and was wondering what my chances might be for KBS.

I think it all depends on where you are located regarding the breweries and good beer stores. I had no problem getting Black Note because I'm close to Kzoo, but I never traveled to Grand Rapids last year to go to Founders or good beer stores in GR shortly after the KBS release, nor did I see any KBS in my local stores that I visit. Admittedly I did not go searching for KBS, but to me it was the harder to come across of these two beers.

Near Cincinnati, a lot of stores near me say they are getting KBS but had no shot at black note. I just thought KBS was a smaller batch then black note.

i dont have any numbers to back this up but i'd venture to say that there is probably 5x more KBS than Black Note...making KBS much much easier to get, except for in/around Bell's.

If you had no problem getting black note in Cincinnati, then you should have no problem with kbs since there should be more kbs than black note.

Unless you live in Chicago, where you will need to chase trucks to buy single bottles and only end up with 3.

If I remember correctly during the freezing morning almost a year ago, Founders planned on released 3X more KBS this year but then again that could have been me hallucinating after shivering like chilly willy and warming up with some black tuesday. Did anyone else see the naked Indian in the 380's section of the line?

If I am not mistaken 3x as much will not even come close to equaling more KBS for anyone. I thought I had heard Founders substantially increased their distribution footprint for their products this year so if anything I would think most of us are going to see even less KBS this time around.

Getting really limited releases has been increasingly annoying in Chicago. I only got one 12oz bottle of black note and couldn't find more anywhere. Hopefully KBS will be a little easier, but I doubt it for some reason.

I'm not sure if I'd be happy or sad to see a bunch of KBS on my local shops shelf when I get back from my 5.5 hour round trip to Founders on work night.

Exactly....wasn't Florida, Texas, Maryland, Delaware, W. Virginia, Tennessee and Canada all supposed to start receiving distro sometime in March of this year?

I thought they were getting just year round and not limited releases?

I am not sure on the specifics, but it would make sense to send some KBS to stir up the hype a bit for the brand

As is reported, only Centennial is heading to Ontario. Other labels may be added in 2014.

Maybe they will take the 10-21-11 Dry Hopped Pale Ale from the shelves in Northern Michigan and send them someone else? Argh...Our Distro doesn't give a fuck, and it's frustrating.

Can someone post where this came from? Did the 3x as much for 2013 originally come from a statement by Founder's? I've been hearing that since sometime last year but don't recall the source.

Even if there is more this year, it'll be gone before it hits shelves.
