KBS Week 2017

Coffee=good!

 

I will be in Grand Rapids on Tuesday, will this be hitting distro around the City? Im assuming it will be gone at Founders?

 

Need a freaking CBS bat signal to alert some of us.

 

It is a coffee bomb. Seriously, it was just like drinking a strong cup of coffee. I was astonished how coffee forward it is this year.

 

If you're driving in to pick up your bottles today, enjoy the wind. Wow!

 

I thought I poured a FBS for a second.

 

Did scaling up production lead to changes in the flavor?

 

Agree that the 2017 KBS is extremely coffee forward, which masks the barrel to me. Chocolate is strong as well. Comparisons to FBS are warranted!

 

I heard the 15th (next Wednesday) in GR retail

 

We asked one of the bartenders at Founders last night if we could open a bottle of KBS and share it, and to our surprise, he said no. I was surprised that you aren't aloud to do this.

 

Thanks, I will be there Wednesday as well. Is it fairly easy to score some around town or is it like here in Madison where people follow the distro around town?

 

Hard to say, sounds like Founders made twice as much this year to the point that one retailer that used to have a single 12oz bottle limit will sell full 4pks and a 750ml.

 

Do bottle shares occur while waiting to get into the party Saturday?
