I'm embarrassed to share this but I will anyway. I led off with CBS and then I tried some of my buddy's KBS. I felt like I was significantly leveling down. I know that sounds so bad but my buddy and brother thought the same thing. I switched back to CBS for the rest of the day.

 

I had a Thursday ticket so had to go offsite for KBS. The Founders visit was amazingly fast. I arrived at 5:30....had my KBS picked up, 6 bottles of Blushing Monk purchased from the store, a trade completed, and a full pour on CBS in my belly in about 30 min time. Went over to the Winchester, arrived about 6:15, no line but place was standing room only. Had a KBS in my hand in about 5 min. A successful night if you ask me.

 

CBS and KBS were tasting great at the tap room today. I got a rookie hooked on bourbon barrel aged beers. LOL

 

I'm bring some Hamms and amstel light is anyone wants to get together and trade.

 

How "fresh" is the Hamms? I believe it falls off after an hour or two like Heady.

 

This is totally wrong. Did an '09-12 vert last weekend and the '10 is drinking amazing right now.

 

I had my first taste of CBS at the KBS party in either 08 or 09.
I didnt want to believe there could be a better beer than KBS but it could not be denied.

 

Super pleased with today's release. Got there around 11:30, line was massive. Picked up my bottle allotment and headed to Harmony, Vivant and made my way back to Founders at around 4:00. Had a KBS and 3 CBS... CBS wins in my opinion. I was glad to see they had so much of both the BA beers, and I'm already looking forward to next year.

 

What are the chances that KBS
Bottles will be at the company store today?

I asked about this earlier in this thread. Apparently kbs did not show up in the general store the Sunday after in previous years.

 

No KBS in the store, but plenty on draft and sitting in the sun is quite nice today. CBS is off the board.

 

Never posted in here after my pickup on Tues. As usual great job by Founders. Got to have CBS and Blushing on tap, (hey Class 3 beers!), easy beer pickup, some tasty lunch, and brief store browsing.

Only complaint is the loss of the parking lot in the back haha, is there plans to build a new one?

 

This reminds me - what's the deal with all the city parking lots between Founder's and Hopcat? We wanted to park in those lots yesterday but every single one of them had signs at the entrance that stated Card Access Only. What the hell. All of those parking lots were only a quarter full.
