    $5.50 in Ferndale. Pretty reasonable since it was $5/bottle at the brewery.

    Was/is it really $7/10oz at Founders? Hell of a lot cheaper than what I paid during "KBS Week" at the local bars.

    KBS and CBS were both $7/10oz.

    My group all thought CBS was superior to KBS...

    CBS is $7 for 8oz at the taproom. And your groups opinion is nothing groundbreaking, CBS IS better than KBS

    And yet KBS still tasted damn fine put up side by side. I personally loved them both and thought they complimented each other very well.

    I snifter conditioned my second KBS pour with two cracked peanuts... It was really good. This was also after I already had two CBS pours and an Azacca IPA so I was feeling pretty loose.

    Since I was lucky enough to get my hands on a case of KBS this year between a friend and myself, I decided to put a few drops of Blis maple syrup in a glass. It was amazing and so damn close to CBS. I could tell a slight difference, but even so, it greatly improved the beer in my opinion.

    Interesting... I think I'm going to try it.

    Did you put the maple syrup in before, or after you poured KBS?

    Mix one bottle kbs and one bottle hipster brunch stout. We call it poor man's cbs. Its surprisingly good.

    I doubt anywhere around here has hipster brunch stout, but I'll keep my eyes open.


    After. Just 3-6 drops on top completely changed the taste of the beer and seemed to mix right in with no effort.

    If anyone is in the area....Lockharts in RO did a silent release and have KBS on tap at the moment. Much better than the CBS release so I give them props for that.
