KBS Week!

Still not bad compared to where I'm at in Chicago. Store in my neighborhood is $10/bottle, 2 bottle limit and I know people who paid $13 a piece... Gotta stop by Woodman's when I'm up in Milwaukee for Easter to see if they have any left. Thanks for the info dude

 

I bought my first 3 4 packs after buying my ticket online from a highly broadcast series of announcements from Founders. I bought my second set of 3 4 packs after a couple of friends mentioned they saw a bunch of posts that, just like last year, Founders did a silent release. The packs lasted from 11AM - 4PM. $20 per pack/$5 per bottle. I wouldn't doubt if they do it again next week or the week after. No truck chasing, connection making, obsessive refreshing of Facebook required to get my case. I literally put in the least amount of effort without being purposefully and willfully ignorant of Founders. I'm not trying to be Mr. Humblebrag McDouche, but if you're in the area and even remotely interested in Founders and KBS and had a hard time finding it, you're probably living in a cave.

 

I hit all 3 in Holland after work and got nothing.

 

Or you weren't able to get a ticket and can't drop everything in the middle of a work day to get to the taproom.

 

Well, not the Founders cave certainly.

 

How as availability at each Woodmans and HyVee? Landing in Madison tonight, hoping to head out and grab some tomorrow am

Picked up my 4-pack of KBS as I had hoped at my beer store in Cleveland. He got one case in only. 4-pack was 20.99 I believe (or 21.99?).

Glad I will be able to try this beast! I plan to drink one or two fresh and age the others and drink them later on.

 

There should be some more floating around Chicagoland. A few stores out by me said they will be getting it and selling on Monday.

 

I would drink at the very least 2 if not 3 of those 4. I saved way too much 2014 and now I have chocolate bombs on my hand which I would have rather had the coffee/chocolate mesh that happens when drinking fresh.

I was going to say...Grand Rapids does not equal MI. Saying a beer is easy to get if you're X minutes from the brewery is not the same as saying KBS is easy to find in Michigan.
