KBS Week!

This is EXACTLY my experience! Out of almost all of the BA beers I prefer KBS fresh. Definitely seems like it's always in an awkward transitional stage in the 6-12 month range. Not too good. I actually prefer it right around the 2 year mark if not consumed fresh. But fresh has always trumped any other consumption date for this brew.

 

I don't know about you nerds. But I just bought a new knife and chair. I'll be swashbuckling from the rafters of this place.

I think we are running out of hotels that will accept us.

 

It looks like there was another round of SWTFYW that i missed out on. The first one was awesome. If anyone wants to test out how good old kbs is i'll bring a few for the bottle share.

 

SWTFYW has evolved a lot since the first round. Highly suggest looking back into it.

I'm going to try the online ticket deal Saturday. Couple questions, do you get to choose the day you pick up, and I'm assuming Friday & Saturday go first? That's ok by me as I can only do Tuesday or Wednesday.

2) It's a crap shoot. More people will initially log on than tickets available. All will appear sold out instantly. Slowly over the next 5-45 minutes tickets will reappear for random days, because people did not complete their order.

 

Started calling around for the KBS hotel package last night. Not one hotel listed on the KBS page knew about the KBS gift package. Anyone else run into this? From reading the description the Founder's tote will be in the room at check-in. Never been to this release so this could be the first year for the giveaway.

 

I will see what can be done...love me some KBS!!!!

According to the Eventbrite info, THREE 4-packs at $20 a pop is the limit.

 

They must have updated it because I could have sworn I read TWO 4-packs when it was first posted.

I forgot...do you indicate how many 4 packs you want at the time of ticket purchase or on pick up day?

 

Nope. just need to purchase the ticket. all beer purchases will be at the brewery and you can 1x, 2x, or (maybe/maybe not) 3x 4pk's
