Im just salty because I was literally on at 11am and didnt get shit....

still a little excessive man..save some for the rest of us next time. Of course if not you then its someone else so more power to ya.

 

I've got one in my cart for Friday and every time the timer hits one second it resets back to 5 mins and counts down again. Strange. Gonna watch this for a while. Will keep you guys updated...

 

I'm refreshing for Friday after getting shut out in line on Wednesday and Thursday... This release is getting crazy...

 

I'm going with a little bit of sarcasm on the 5 tickets.

Every day except Friday shows sold out, Friday say unavailable. Clear as mud. Give me the 4 Elf cluster fuck any day.

Ha ha! The confirmation email for tix is all last year's info... These things can never get sorted out right...

My wife is now lording her KBS ticket over me... All I can think is Saturn, Saturn, Saturn...

 

My wife and I both got tickets for Saturday. I used Firefox on a desktop. She used chrome on her android tablet.

Not sure if it made a difference, but we had them purchased by 11:02, because we signed up and put in all of our shipping, billing, etc, information ahead of time.

Hitting refresh like mad at 11:00, probably helped too. Neither of us saw the waiting room or whatever that is.

 

I swear I put Wednesday in cart and paid but my tix says Tuesday...

 

My wife got a ticket for Wednesday. I was put in a waiting room at exactly 11am for a Wednesday ticket. It still says i'm in the waiting room. I know they are sold out but I just. can't. stop.

 

Soon as my phone said 11 I refreshed and had no problems

 

I'm a little miffed. Just don't understand how I can be put in a waiting room at 11am for "first come, first served" and strike out. END RANT

 

Both my wife and I had event Brite accounts logged in and hit refresh at 10am central. Both on chrome. Hit saturday aNd by 10:04 rejected as sold out. Tried Friday and same thing. I guess I just got unlucky. Last year I got it.

 

I guess I find it very hard to believe that the demand is more than 4x for this compared to BB Plead. 2 case limit for those willing to make the effort...and Dark Horse still had extra left after everyone that wanted it got it.
Is Founders holding waaaay too much back to either cellar or for distribution? They said they are holding none back, but I just don't see this making sense, unless Dark Horse is out producing them for the big stout.

 

When they say holding none back, they likely mean that they aren't sitting on pallets in a warehouse to sell later. They are selling their full allotment via tickets and distribution as always.

I kind of miss the old days of bottle sharing through the night and case/half case allotments to everyone in line. It was a lot of fun.

 

FWIW, from my understanding, DH only sold BBPt5 on 4Elf / at the brewery afterward, while Founders has a pretty wide distribution. So, while I don't think they are holding any back, there's a ton that's going into distribution in addition to the week of sales at the brewery & kegs everywhere.

Dark Horse distributed none of BBPt, I guess that is how they didn't run out and Founders does. I like the ticket system, but waiting in line weeds out more cherry pickers and people that would other wise not put in "that much effort".

 

Now kegs makes sense, Founders seems to keg a lot of KBS.
Sounds like I'll just have to see what's going on that Saturday.
