I've never tried KBS, but from this story I now know that I just have to try to call out every liquor store in Indy until one of them sells me some.

All liquor stores in INDY suck unless you sell me KBS!

You're doing it all wrong. You must follow these steps in order.

    1. Purchase KBS in any quantity.
    2. Give away 25% to a friend. (Beer Advocacy/earning good karma)
    3. Enter raffle, preferably at a party store.
    4. Wait.
    5. Strong arm party store employees.
    6. Begin reeking of awesomeness.
    6. Gloat.

I hate to treat this post seriously, but...

    1. As far as I'm aware, Imperial Beverage doesn't distribute KBS, so I doubt they'd care what the store was doing with it. Depends on your location in Michigan, I suppose... but their website omits KBS from the Founders brands they do distribute, and I know their Founders distribution network is limited.

    2. The store bought the beer from a distributor. The distributor got paid when the account bought the beer. Whatever distributor sold the beer wouldn't care at all what the store was or was not doing with it.

    3. Stores aren't obligated to sell you beer. Craft stores REGULARLY withhold special releases so that they can have events later on in the year. I guarantee you D. Schulers is going to 'find' some 2014 KBS right before Christmas and make a big to-do about it. Same way Founders 'finds' some extra cases lying around in their warehouse and ships them to distributors for some 3 month late distributing. How dare they run their business and capitalize on supply and demand when the market runs dry.

3b. How dare a store hold back a little KBS they buy in order to let their employees buy a little? For heaven's sake, if I worked at a store and had to sell through our entire supply of KBS without getting the chance to buy a single bottle because I had to work that day I may go crazy.

    4. You don't have a God-given right to buy KBS just because you liked a store on Facebook. That's the dumbest thing I've ever read. You're the type of person customer service representatives hate encountering. Stop being so self-entitled and harassing employees of a store who are just doing their jobs. Especially when said harassment is because a store urged you to like their page for a chance to win the opportunity to buy something... which by the way, is probably still going to happen. Just on the store's terms, not an obnoxious customer's.

You should call the store and apologize, then give away that 4 pack to someone in need of great beer.

If I'm reading this correctly, you're saying OP isn't entitled to this beer?

Somewhere in Michigan; a party store employee just lost their job because of some 'Like our Facebook page to enter a raffle for a chance to purchase a 4-pack of KBS!' conspiracy... LOL
