Its not Founders KBS. It's Kentucky Bourbon Stout. God I miss Scott at that Specs.

 

Hard to believe, but that one is even more watery than KBS

 

I had it, didn't think it was terrible. Bought a single at HEB. Wouldn't buy a 4-pack.

Funny that his email was all "we only got 1 case and its gonna go fast"

The new guys at RR Specs aren't as up to speed as the previous gentleman was there. Also, Pretty sure I picked up KBS back when it hit and they got a couple cases. Don't quote me on that though, I've slept and drank approximately 400 beers since then .

What batch was it? I heard they had a low alcohol, watery batch of BBB but current 12% batches are spot on.

 

me too man, why email about a shelf turd? this guy doesn't seem to get beer

 

I believe batches 36 & 37. My neighbor who brought them works for KEG1 so I imagine they were the latest 2 batches.
