Hmmm. The local distributor for Bells told me (in-person) that it would be 3/15 in NC. I'll be waiting outside of Sam's at 7am.

 

founders news letter says it will hit distribution monday 3/12 so thats when I'll be looking for it

 

Of course I'm leaving Georgia March 11th and won't be back till the 23rd. It will probably be gone by then.

 

I meant the distributor for Founders, if that wasn't obvious. He might do the Bells stuff, too, but that doesn't make me any less of a doofus.

 

Anybody got an idea on pricing, same as last year or more?

 

I've also been told the the allocation was decreased (not sure of the actual % though) and that it will def be hitting the market on the 13th.

 

any update on the supposed market date? Founders is saying 3/15 release, but what's stopping it from hitting the shelves that monday or tuesday?

Argh! I'm going out of town Saturday. It'll probably all be gone when I return.

 

KBS is always released on march 15th. although they did change it this year, their newsletter originally said it would hit monday 3/12.

haha you should be alright just going on thursday, as thats when most places will receive it. However, I would keep my eyes peeled throughout the week because it seems there is always a couple places that release founders beers before they are supposed to..

 

March 15th release date (this is a hard release date, anyone who sells early I would imagine will be seeing an e-mail from Founders) Less cases than last year (I think something like 140 total in the state) and a shade more expensive. Can't wait until next year as it sounds like we will be swimming in it, but as of this years release it is going to be super small, Three to five cases for your big boy accounts and scattered for the rest, GOOD LUCK in the hunt!!

Savannah Distributing in Georgia has had it since last Friday...I've been told just 120 cases for the entire state with 20% of that going to Savannah/South Georgia. Doesn't leave much to spread around the Atlanta/Athens area and other parts north.

They are holding it to until the 15th, when it will be released to retail accounts on their normal delivery schedule.

 

Only one case to be allotted to our store here in Catawba!

 

Anyone here how much Sam's Quick Shop will be charging?

I have a 1st-word problem: I'm super stoked to try this beer, but there's a non-zero chance I won't love it. After all, while I really like FBS, I rate it somewhat less high than the average here. (I've never had CBS.)

If I can get my hands on 2 4-packs at ~$20/per, should I do so? I could always trade some, I guess? Hmmm....

 

Get two and send one to me!

Be careful...rumor is that stores will only get half of what they were supposed to get.
