I scored one around 12:00 from the Whole Foods on Wade as well. Congrats Bluecane on your score in Chapel Hill (and thanks for trying to help us out).

Hopefully I get a win from Bottle Revolution.

It's my first time, so I hope I like it. At least I know there will be people willing to take it off my hands if I don't

By the time I started making calls this morning, most places had sold out. And yes, they sold it yesterday. Hella lame...
I sure hope the expansion does favorable things for Founder's GA distribution because we're getting totally shafted recently.

There were stores in NC selling it as early as Tuesday too. Very lame. Especially since I didn't find out til today

At least one local store employee has given me the "we aren't getting any this year" routine. Would be nice if they'd be straight up about holding it back for employees. No worries, I should still be able to get ahold of a bit for my yearly ration.

As of ~3pm this afternoon, Myer's Park TW still had a little over a case left, one bottle per customer limit as well. Apparently, they received three cases. Best of luck to everyone in their searches!

I was in the Triangle today as well and hit TW Durham and WF Chapel HIll. Too late for both. Does anybody have word in the Triad?

I'm not even bothering. I know what it taste like and I doubt it has changed much, to see all the limits now and people paying >$15 a bottle just makes it crazy. One of my favorite beers over the years but I'm not breaking the bank or waiting in lines for the beer.... **sigh**

I know its becoming a bit of a broken record at this point, but it really has gotten to the point of absurdity. Places are selling this stuff out in less than half an hour just by posting that they have it on twitter, before lunchtime, on a weekday.....I didn't even bother this year, same as with hopslam.

People paid that much for 12 ounces of Imperial Stout? That is nuts imo. I sat this one out and don't feel like I missed a thing. I am not driving to a store and waiting in line to buy one bottle of beer. I can go to Duckworths on Wednesday nights and have my pick of world class impy stouts for $3 a draft.

This is me. I used to drink this stuff like water. It's a great beer, but good God, this crap is ridiculous. This'll be the first year since Founders came to GA that I won't be getting any. I refuse to jump through the hoops.

I actually don't mind the whole sam's thing.... I was going to be in that area of durham all day anyway, and now i can go, drink some vintage founders stuff, and have a chance to get some KBS and CBS, not too bad IMO

My buddy and I bought four bottles (2 per person limit) at Beer Dispensary in Apex NC. They lasted for a few hours there until a little after 3:30, but never got the chance to post they had it. They also had Hopslam. Total Wine sold out today in about twenty minutes once the shipment arrived. I look forward to the tap takeover at Sam's on Saturday, maybe I'll see some of you there.

Well I scored 2 bottles today at a local bottle shop, glad I was able to get a few without any drama.

Anyone wearing a Lehigh shirt to the founders tap takeover at Sams today should instantly be given a CBS no questions asked.

How many people do you think are going to show up with their grandparents to get a lotto ticket?
