Going to KC next week for the Big 12 Basketball tournament, and just looking for some insight into what breweries/tap rooms to put on the radar. I've never done the Boulevard tour, but everyone else I'm going with has multiple times, and don't really care it to do it again. But some other good brewery suggestions would definitely be welcome.
KC Bier Co and Cinder Block come to mind. Free State is only a half hour drive and worth it. I've heard Big Rip is OK but have not been there.

I've done Free State a couple of times before ISU/KU football games. Good place. Thanks for the suggestions and other threads.

I saw that after making the original post. I will be pushing hard for it. Boulevard is an institution of Midwest craft beer, and I'd love to darken its door.
