I'll be visiting KC on business next week and wanted to see what are some good beer bars, restaurants, or bottle shops near Leawood. I'll be staying near Town Center. So far my searches haven't yielded much in that area and I won't have access to a car unfortunately. Best I could probably do is taxi distance.
Lukas Liquors on the Kansas side and Royal Liquors on the Missouri side are both fairly close by. They will have different selections. Missouri side is usually more interesting, but Lukas is a big store. There is a Gordon Biersch in Town Center. Barley's Brewhaus on 135th isn't that far away. They usually have a decent selection of beers.
Lukas on the Missouri side. I like to use something like seek a brew to compare what is available in my state compared to Missouri and then make a list.
