Yea, Not gonna lie, I hope she gets her own place eventually. I have no doubt she could do some fantastic spontaneous beers.

Would be awesome, and who says it's not in the works? Would need at least a year probably before hearing of anything, unless she wants to divulge plans before determining how successful the space will allow her to be with them.

Either way I need to start seeking me some of these bottles. It all sounds so awesome.

All the ones that are currently available: Holding Space, Sparkles & Glistened, and At the Still Point.

I’ve done a lot of work with Averie (I profiled her for CraftBeer.com, she’s a source on a couple later pieces) and I’ve had a ton from JK. Super excited to get to try these.

yeah, these are a real treat.

1.) I’ve only had batch one of Art of Holding Space so far, and it has been a top beer of 2020 for me. It’s the perfect response to 2020. As the world careens to EXTREME everything, this is a love letter to gentle nuance and subtlety. Don’t mistake this as boring or obscure - it is approachable, complex, layered, crisp, full, and refreshing. I sat down with my bottle and a bunch of very rich food and I relished it from the moment it hit my nose to the last warmed sip. A pleasant daydream of a beer.

2.) everything glistened and sparkled was a camping bonfire beer for me, and it was a big surprise. As in... I still don’t know what I tasted. Rye spice and a honey kiss? It was big-bodied, lush, and confusing. Haha, every single metaphor that came to mind was too risqué or personal to post. Please post your thoughts on this one.

3.) At the still point in a turning world is banging around in my fridge, calling to me softly. I’ll report back on that one tomorrow, won’t I?

Now please let this thread fall back into a deep slumber.

I was fortunate enough to have someone here remember some pasts post of mine and reach out to me recently. I also got these 3 bottles and have already had Holding Space, and was just as if not more impressed than I was expecting to be.

Most breweries first swing at a saison are just overwrought or totally miss the mark, tasting like Hefes or Witbiers or something else entirely. Obviously she's no amateur in this regard, but still, it was a bullseye.

I’m imagining the Art of Holding Space to be a perfect beer for the thanksgiving table.

I drank At The Still Point of the Turning World and found it to be incredible! So much so, that I bought two more bottles! I haven’t tried Everything Glistened yet. Still have a bottle of Architects of Harmony too.

I’ve enjoyed each of these beers. The “smoked” beer less so but was still nice to share around a campfire.

I am having an At the Still Point of the Turning World right now, and it's absolutely blowing my mind. For me it really drastically departs away from any Jester King characteristics (which if I'm being honest I otherwise love), and much more towards Hill Farmstead-like qualities, if I might say so. It's very delicate, balanced, floral, and absolutely amazing. A damn near perfect beer.

I agree that the qualities in the Keeping Together beers I've had tend towards Hill Farmstead Great stuff.

Of course, I had to include Averie in this. Sorry for the self-plug. I just like very much farmhouse ales and I include the makers of beer I like.
