Howdy, SJ'ers! I am going to check out the Keg and Kitchen tonight, the revamped spot of Cork. From what I have seen thus far, there is about 100 different bottles, and 17 beers on tap. So this is very close to what the Pourhouse has. I am very curious to see what the will have to offer!

I've been very curious to try it as well. Did you make a reservation? I know it has been tough getting into without one, but they do use OpenTable, so it's easy to make on online.

I've read that in terms of beer their tap list is pretty generic, but that is from the yelp reviews so not the most trustworthy source. Heard the food is good, please do report back!

So I was getting my free water ice across the street from where Cork used to be. The restaurant is now called Keg & Kitchen.

The sign says they have craft food and craft beer. Does anyone know if these are the same owners or if this is new management?

Well here is my report: it is the same owners. The food was in my opinion was amazing. My wife loved her scallops to death.

As for the beer list, it is generic with some good finds. I know the server said they are open to suggestions, so I do hope they are taken into consideration.

We did make an Opentable reservation just to make sure as we were going at 6 and you know how places can fill up at this time.

The lighting was so much better then PJ's. I honestly can not stand dim lighting (though I heard Eulogy has dim lighting up stairs) as PJ's has but in here it was lit at our booth and we can see the menu clearly.

I went on a whim this week too. Didn't have reservations but went kinda early.

Beer list is kinda disappointing but I assume they're just starting up, and need some time to nail that down.

The food was well cooked (I also got the scallops and they were cooked beautifully) it just seemed like some of the pairings didn't really work, and they weren't planned extremely well. Still tasted great.
