Don't see a lot of talk about this place here on the boards. It's a small brewpub in Greenpoint, Brooklyn NY that used to be your run of the mill beer bar. A little over a year ago, it converted into a full fledged brew pub. Their brewmaster, Patrick is churning out some very underrated brews. Particularly their Gastronomical & London Falls IPA, which fall directly in line with the NE style haze bombs we all seem to go nuts for.

London Falls IPA | 6.5%| Mosaic hops are at the forefront of this tropical, soft, and juicy IPA.

Gastronomical IPA | 7%| Juicy IPA with hop waves of citrus, mango, and peach from Equinox, Galaxy and Citra hops.

They also offer 32oz Crowlers of any of their beers to go. Anyone else a fan of this place?

NE hazy juicy IPAs do nothing for me at all. Do they make other styles?

EDIT: saw their menu - the pilsner, brown ale and oyster stout sound good to me.

Their other styles are all really solid as well. Good food too.

Love Green Eyes. Trying to spread the word and show these guys some love since I don't really seem to see much buzz around them. Especially with them being right down the street from Torst.

Pricing is super reasonable. 5-7 bucks for a 20oz pour. 9 bucks for a 32oz crowler to go.

Most of their taps are dedicated to their house brews.

    Great wings too.

London falls was good but I was expecting more for a beer that showcases mosaic but not saying it was a bad beer it was good don't get me wrong. Didn't get to try green eyes, they also had a new double called jet pack.

Crowler machine was broken so I couldn't take anything home loved gastro & underrated pale ale.

If anyone would know when the machine is fixed I would love to be able to get some of this stuff to go since being in the Bronx I wouldn't be able to go out there as often as I would like

Was at Torst on Saturday, and the bartender recommended I go there next, as it's <200 feet away around the corner. I was very happy I went. On Saturdays, they have a 6 wings and a pitcher of any beer for $20... the wings were great, and so was the beer. Got great seats at the bar right before it started to get packed for the Champions League final. I'll definitely be going back.

EDIT: I want to add this here, since I don't want to start a new thread... Afterwards my girlfriend and I went to Spritzenhaus, which is a great german style beer haul, but with great craft beer on tap. I peruse the menu, and I find 2016 Parabola bottles on the menu, for $15!!!:grimacing: Just an unbelievably amazing price for that beer ON-premise, a beer that has eluded me for two years, and I find it sitting at a bar for what I imagine is a bargain price for a bottle shop to sell it at. Back in January they had 2015 BCBS by the bottle for $10

I also went to torst afterwards which is insane how close they are to one another, I made my way to greenpoint beer and ales right afterwards, and I have to say I was kinda of disappointed with the beers I had. Not sure if some purposely but the beers were on the warmer side. Ended up going back to keg and lantern

I've noticed that with some of GPoint Beer & Ale's beers as well. Their stuff can be very hit or miss with me.
