Hello, New to the forum and had a question about the ever increasing keg prices in Florida. Hope someone can shed some light on this. I live in the Jacksonville, FL area. When I first made my kegerator oh about 8 years ago a 1/2 keg of Budweiser was about $60. The current price at Total Wine is $95. However, if you check the Total wine website, their Orlando store still sells a 1/2 keg of Budweiser for around $60. Since it's all brewed in the Jacksonville AB Brewery wouldn't you think that the beer would be cheaper at it's place origin since there isn't and added expense of trucking it 200 miles? Here locally, I can buy it by the 7 cases of cans on sale for darn near the same price of a keg. I purchased a keg of Foster's last go around since the $15 dollar keg difference gave me a lot more bang for the buck. So, is this some sort of regional price gouging or what?
