Theres about a quarter of a half keg in my dads fridge. I was tapped with a party tap on the 14th of this month. Tap was returned the next day and the kegs been in the fridge since. Do you think its still good to put in a kegerator or should we return it for the deposit. Its blue moon.
It wasn't good when you started out with it.....I kid. It's probably not as good as it was before you introduced oxygen into it, but is it dangerous or bad? No. No reason not to try it.
Definitely give it a taste, but don't get your hopes too high. 2+ weeks with air in the headspace can be a real buzz kill (pun intended). Only you can decide if it's drinkable.
The best way to enjoy this beer is to have some hungry pals over and serve them snacks with a side dish of Habanero peppers . . . but tell them it's merely Jalapeno peppers. Lock 'em in a room and they will treasure the Blue Moon. They'll look at you as a savior and you'll still get your deposit back . . . win-win.
