I am considering an Edgestar KC7000 triple tap...

I like that it will hold 3 1/6 kegs along with having a triple tap - I want to have cider on tap for myself and beer for friends if possible...

It also seems to allow under counter in future if i go that way and has a tower cooler...

Is Edgestar/ this model a reasonably good brand/model?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated...

    Thank you!

Edgestar. meh. you could do worse. but it looks like a decent value with the couplers, tank and stainless faucets.

no matter your choice, you should stick with stainless steel for the cider. it is not a requirement, but stainless is preferred. 316 stainless in fact. micromatic has the stuff. open your wallet.

others have their preferences. i can't say edgestar is junk, don't really have the experience with edgestar.

    Cheers.

    Billandsuz,

That's for the information - I've been looking at the Micromatic site...

Any other input would still be welcome as I haven't pulled the trigger yet :-)

But I did get signoff from the wife :-)

Depending on your budget. You can spend $300-$2,000 + on a keg unit.obvisouly the old saying you get what you pay for comes to mind. Low end units have trouble getting the beer below 40F so people have trouble with foam issues with out modifications to unit. A good commercial unit which a little noisier and the most expensive will give you the best pours and least issues.
