I am going to be buying a kegerator this month and don't have the funds available to buy a Beverage-Air or Summit. So I am looking at the beermeister SS dual tap value line, Haier SS dual tap, and Kegco 390B SS dual tap. I would appreciate feedback from anybody who has these and what system you would recommend or others that I should be considering.

I have a Haier double tap, had it for three years. Added a tower cooler, 10' lines, a better regulator and Perlick faucets when it was new and it has been great. It will hold two slim quarters or three sixths (it is also available as a triple tap). Got it from Beverage Factory.

I have that Beermeister model and love it. Only suggestion I would make if you go that route is upgrade to perlick faucets and also upgrade to the dual body, three gauge regulator so you can manage different pressure settings.

Thanks for the information on the Haier double tap. I was planning on upgrading to the Perlick SS faucets. For the regulator is the one that beverage factory a good one to upgrade to? -> Upgrade to 2 Product Premium Pro Series Double Gauge Regulator w/ Two Product Out - does this one allow you to set the pressure per individual keg?
What is the tower cooler that you said you added? was the stock model not keeping your beer cold enough?
What is the reason for the 10' lines?
    Thanks!

Thanks for the info on the Beermeister value line double tap stainless. I had planned on the Perlick faucets, but hadn't planned on updating the regulator. So the one that comes with it will not let you you set the pressure per keg? Is this the one that you are referencing? -> Taprite Brand CO2 Beer Regulator, Dual Body, Three Gauge - is this the best regulator? Are the cleaning kits something that should be purchased?
    Thanks!

I got my regulator after the purchase from a home brew store, any that is capable allowing two pressures should be fine. Not sure from the description of the beverage factory one if that will do it. You should ask them.
A tower cooler eliminates first beer foam which is caused by the tower being warmer than the area inside the box. Commercial kegerators come with them built in, most consumer units do not. You can make one for $20-$30 bucks or just buy one. Beverage factory doesn't sell them, check eBay.
Perlick faucets are forward closing and are low restriction (as are all forward closers). If you try to add them to a set up with the standard 5' lines the beer will flow too quickly and you will have foam issues. Longer lines produce more resistance and slow the flow.
You should read up on how to balance your system to get good pours - if you don't you will likely have a lot of foam issues and be frustrated. Kegerators are not plug and play, there is science behind it. Check some of the other threads in this forum regarding foam.

Correct, you can't dial in separate pressures on the dual regulator provided. It's not a major deal if you are serving similar beer styles, but will make a difference when serving different styles. You'll definitely need a cleaning kit. You are going to want to clean the faucets/lines between kegs. Cheers.

I wasn't aware of the longer lines required for the perlick faucets, thanks for the heads up.
