    Hey there I have a Haier kegerator and i noticed water leaking out of the bottom. Looked further into problem and seems like it is not powering up at all. No noise is coming from the kegerator at all. Anybody have and idea what the issue could be? Any help suggestions would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

    Is it getting power? Is it plugged in? Check the circuit breaker and GFCI. Is there anything else on that circuit?

    I was thinking GFI as well. then I thought no way. impossible.

    the t-stat might be screwy. bang it around a bit to see if you can get it to turn on.

    the water issue might be condensate.
    if there the compressor is not running when plugged in and everything else is ok, you probably have a brick that needs to be replaced. the cost to repair is probably going to be a lot. but you can salvage the hardware, co2 tank, regulator etc.

    I've got a dorm fridge in my garage for soda and macro beers. Once a month or so, there's a minor stream of water running from it on the floor. In my case, it's always been the GFCI (I really need to find the source of that problem and fix it). This is my low hanging fruit.

    Regarding it being too costly to repair, you're absolutely right. Some manufacturers consider their low end refrigerators unrepairable, even during the warranty period. Replacement is the only option. That may or may not apply here.

    My Haier builds up a lot of ice on the inside back wall. If the power was cut off for any length of time I would have water once it melts.
    If you have had your unit for a while, I'm guessing that is what it is.
    Reminds me I should defrost it before my next keg.

    I don't know if I can help cause I don't work on fridges but;

    1) the fridge not making noise doesn't mean it isn't working. It makes noise when the compressor kicks on or the evaporator fan kicks on
    2) if it isn't working, it isn't cooling. So is it not cooling?
    3) the water is definitely condensate. Find out where it is coming from, check the evaporator.
    4) is this a mini fridge with the evaporator as the icebox inside the fridge? Or are the freezer and fridge seperated?
    5) look for ice stuck to the evaporator or blocking the drain (if a standard fridge). If ice builds up in the freezer box or on the evaporator it can block the flow of cool air from either the freezer box to the fridge cooler or keeps the fan from forcing air over the evaporator which actually warms the space because the airflow is what cools the fridge and allows the evaporator to function. Most often you will see a lot of water with this condition because the warm fridge continously melts the bottom layer of ice in the freezer.

    Hope you find a solution
