Hi all, I just did my ritual beer line/tap cleaning for my newest keg and I can't for the life of me figure this out. Everything is back together seemingly tight and secure, however beer just won't come out as it used to. If I put my tap at 100% nothing comes out. At about 75% I will get just foam. Nothing for anywhere else. I've taken apart and put back together my tap and handle a couple of times, but with the same results. PSI on the CO2 is around 9, which is normal. Any want to help? Thanks
Decouple tap from keg. Decouple beer line from Faucet shank. Recouple tap to keg. Does beer now flow without the faucet/shank? If so, problem is with faucet/shank. If not, problem is earlier in chain.
CO2 tank is good, 2nd keg 5lb and brand new keg. Beer flows without faucet connected (accidentally tested this last night, much to the amusement of the Fiance). My first thought was too warm, since I was messing around with it for about an hour last night, was hoping I would have came home today and all was well, second would be I over pressurized, but having the faucet at 100% with nothing happening I wouldn't say disproves this, but I would assume something would come out. The problem definitely is on the faucet end.
Did you completely disassemble the faucet, or just remove it from the tower? I'm wondering if you got an o-ring dislodged inside it? There really isn't that much in there that can go wrong.
So, I just took apart my faucet and re-attached to tower missing piece by piece, isolated to the washer connecting faucet to tower. Why this is now a problem, same washer I've used for about a dozen kegs, I don't know, but that appears to be the issue.
