There are non commercial units that go plenty below 38, I've frozen kegs solid in my Haier.

Your better off serving bottles at this point. To little time to get a unit set up and dial in.

So now that time isn't a factor what are some commercial units I should look at? My budget is $1,500 for everything but would love to pay much less. There are a few reconditioned true t dd 2s by me but I like the smaller units.

Bev Air and True are the two most common, Summit's commercial line is also worth a look.

Of Course I am partial to the BevAir units.. I'm afraid he might be a little over budget going by the time he adds in his accesories though. Summits are always considered the the next step down in my book. Only problem with Summit is they are a dirt bag company to deal with if there is any issues down the road.

I got my Bev Air BM-23 unit through the Beverage Factory. They have been great to deal with. My unit had slight damage through shipping and they took off $206.25. I also (Evidently) selected a crappy CO2 regulator that went up around the 9 month mark and they immediately shipped me an upgraded unit (That works much better) and gave me full credit on the bad one. Here is a copy of the invoice if it helps cost-wise; it is right below your listed budget!! [Don't get the listed regulator-that is the bad one]:

I came across this beverage air fridge conversion for under $200.00 and I'm going to take a look. Two co2 tanks, tap, empty shell and regulator. Fridge and compressor are 4-5 years old. Keeps a keg at 34-36

Are you putting this in a garage?

Yes, that's why the home units won't work for me.

Well at $150 its not bad. I asked the seller to run it over night with a 5 gallon bucket of water in it.

With the tap in the door I won't have to worry so much about warm lines like in a tower right?

Correct..And since you will have $$$ left over from budget. You can upgrade all your components and to higher end components

Not sure. The tower is on the far left and there is a sliding door on top

yeah sounds like the bm23-c club top model.Only thing that stinks about that model is the size of the drip tray. especially if you upgrade to a double faucet tower..

    Is this it?

That's it. Dual faucets are nice but I think I'm keeping it a single as I'm buying half barrels. I like the top door because I can store my bud light chaladas in there and crown. The previous owner only put four kegs through it, still has its original co2 tank still half full. All the lines are clean and its been upgraded to stainless. I have two of everything including two regulators, one is a micromatic stainless regulator. Came with a keg shell and cleaning kit too. I also got the owners manual, receipts and warranty card. The compressor is spotless, not a dent or scratch on the top or fridge. I paid $350 for everything

Best part is I'm not serving bottles tonight. I am on my way to pick up a keg of mile marker.
