Anybody hve one of these lately? Still have four in the cellar, trying to figure out whether to drink or trade them, but not sure what the trade on them would be.

If you do decide to trade one, let me know. I would love to have the experience of drinking this beer.

Does anyone know whether Sierra Nevada ever said how close the recipe for Narwhal is to this beer? Since it was released soon after the 30th beers were so sucessful. Still sad the black barleywine didn't become a permanent beer.

I actually got shared one a few weeks ago. Reads stout, but tastes more like a black barleywine. Smokey, dark, definitely a treat. Plus, novelty.
