I'm heading to a few places in western CT Saturday so I'd like to find some Kent Falls beers along the way. How is the availability in the stores they list on their website? Any bars/restaurants a reliable source?

Try craft beer cellar in West Hartford.

No reliable sources. I have purchased bottles at Harvest in West Hartford. It is on tap around the greater Hartford area. Check beermenus with more up to date locations. I think bottles will be spotty, but with a little work you can find a draft account or two.

Try calling the stores listed on the website. I've gotten it at Classic Liquors on Rt 7 south of New Milford.

There are bottles sitting on the shelf in branford. I know that doesn't help much because it is not western CT. Just to give you an idea of availability, i bought a bottle of field beer and farmers table last week when my local store got their first shipment from kent falls, and another of each today at the same store.

Picked up a few bottles in Coastal just the other day so they are out there. Not a lot at Coastal. I think only a case of each beer.
Good luck in tracking down some of their beers!

I haven't seen it in stores. On tap a few places in Fairfield Co. The Brett I had was terrific so good luck!

These guys are really killing it. I think it's only a matter of time before they take off big time. I have yet to find it in my area but will keep looking. Have a buddy from New Milford who gets it for me, but I would love to be able to find it myself. Cheers!

I was at Manchester Wine and Liquors last night and they have a good amount of both Field Beer Saison and Farmer's Table. Ended up purchasing a Field Beer (Batch 3), which is a delicious and refreshing sour saison. Very excited to see what they do next.

seen a bunch of Kent Falls mentions in the "Beers of 2015" thread. I've yet to try, or even look for these guys. I've gotten lucky to score SoS in central CT. Safe bet that anyone getting Lawsons is getting Kent Falls stuff? If not, any specific stores in Wallingford area?

    Thanks folks!

There's definitely plenty around central CT. A quick look at beermenus should give you an idea for stores and bars in your area.

Some Kent Falls has been sent to Massachusetts from time to time. I suggest following the twitter/ insta of the distributor, Craft Collective: https://twitter.com/crftcollective

Yup and I have seen draft of Kent Falls at Armsby Abby as well. Maybe Lord Hobo but I am not positive as I can't remember for sure.

Tap takeover at Lower Depths in Boston (Comm Ave) on the 14th - sounds like a great way to get our hands on some excellent beer. Had Sweatpants at Bukowski's last week and it was beautiful.

Willowbrook in Cromwell gets some of the stuff. I don't shop any closer to Wallingford. Plenty in the Hartfod area though.

Their beer availability rotates, consisting largely of one-off batches of saisons that experiment with different malts/hops/brett. The one out there now, Anachronism, is absolutely delicious. Small % of smoked malt gives it a bit of gaminess that plays nicely with their house saison yeast. IPAs are pretty much draft only, and most of their BA goodies are sold at the New Milford Farmers' Market. Brewery is supposed to open to the public in Spring '16.

Shipping out to package stores the week of 01/06:

"Dekkera - 4% table beer fermented with our house brett strain. Dry fruits and brett character in a very easy drinking beer

2016 - 5.2% a celebration of the start to a new calendar year, each year’s release will vary slightly, this year’s batch is a tart saison dry hopped with centennial and chinook and a tiny bit of brett and oak added post fermentation to allow it to develop over the coming year."

Getting their beer hasn't always been easy since we're probably their eastern-most store, but everything they do is unique and well-done.
