In surprise news, Rock House Brewing in Lexington is re-opening Feb. 16 under completely new ownership and staff.

 

I did, too. One of them was my spouse.

Goodbye, free beer!

 

There's not enough special local stuff I haven't had and need to have.

Also, Turtleback Ridge opens for the season March 9 with Maplefest.

 

Burl Brew is slated to open for business on March 1. It's located across the street from Ethereal in the Burl complex (arcade/concert venue/kitchen currently).

The brewer was most recently the head brewer at Blue Stallion.

 

I presume it's happening because Burl intends to make/sell beer to the concert crowds they attract, and the profit margins would be a ton better than selling macro, but I could be wrong.
