I have a friend who will be in the Peducah, KY are this weekend. I am going to have her look for West Sixth IPA for me. Any other suggestions? There are not many breweries in KY and I don't think many of the bottle/can. I am not sure if there is anything in that region that might be worth looking for. It would have to be pretty easily available though. (I am in northern Illinois and have access to anything in the Chicago market.)
I don't know of much distribution near Paducah but the closest big city in KY is Bowling Green at about 2 hours away. If you want some West 6th I'm in Lexington and can trade you something not too extravagant for it.
Lore is bottling two 22 once bottles - amber and the brown. New Albanian bottles - sort of Kentucky. Just on the other side of the river. And Lexington Alltech bottles.
Your best bet is Roof Brothers on Park Avenue in Paducah. It's only a few miles off of Interstate 24 and is an easy in and out destination. I would call ahead and ask for the Beer Buyer, Cain. If you catch him at an off peak time, he can be VERY helpful. This way you can have some goodies ready to go when she gets there. I don't think you will find West 6th, but I may be wrong. The last time I was there though, they were doing growler fills of Country Boy's (Lexington) Jalopeno Smoked Porter. Good Luck and Cheers!
