What's going to happen when they realize all those "Belgian IPA"s aren't made in Belgium???

Don't get me started. You have to say 'STYLE' now to get label approval. Even IPA has gone this route. You want to call A beer an India Pale Ale? Get ready to throw a 'style' in there, lest there be any confusion. Belgian is the same if you want/need TTB approval.

    India Style Wild Pale Ale
    An Ale

    Yeah, sexy.
Kinda liked the India Wild Ale better though.
    Washington, we're trying.

Does IPA still work because it's just an abbreviation? This is getting crazy.

Not according to our TTB agent.
Must have ALE (or another predetermined common use and understanding style) in there somewhere, so IPA would be IPA Ale. Wee.
In all fairness, we do love adjectives, so party on.

Edit: and it seems the last person we dealt with would have it as:
    IPA Ale
An Ale (or preferably, 'an American Ale')

Weird! I though all that Beer in Texas ruling would have cleared up this nonsense.

Label delays have moved the release of BBADS to the second week of October, per Twitter.

I kinda like Be Bad more than KDS. More fun to say. Imaginary conversation: Larry; Whatcha drinking? Curly; Getting B-Bombed on B Bads!

Sounds like B-Bomb is also going to have to change... BBA-Bomb? B-Babomb?

Funny, I don't recall this coming up with Bourbon Fred from the Wood.
Not that I'm suggesting there's some kind of double standard or anything.

Eh, I could be wrong too or misinterpreting what Weyerbacher went through. It's possible they just can't call it Bourbon and as long as something is after then it's fine.
