Not weird at all. Last year they had a release with no limit. I showed up 2 days later and it was already gone.
Why do you need more than 4 when it's just released?

I like that they sell their limited beers this way. Saves the mad rush and people showing up with hand carts.

was at brewery over the weekend and they still had a bunch. but if not there, Tacoma boys and some other bottle shops around Seattle seemed pretty well stocked

Tell me about it! We are 3 hours south and dont see a damn thing from them. We send all sorts of goodies up north and all they send back is Elysian :slight_frown:

As soon as the new facility is open, you'll be getting it. Now hush, you're starting to behave like a FIB.

I still call it KDS, and it is def one of the best BBA Stouts that exists. Wish they distro in Cali. Seattle residents sure get a good go at it

I'll be in town in two weeks, any chance it'll still be around in bottle shops? Along with the coffee?

Weird, saw lots of bottle of this for sale months and months after release, this summer. Weird that they don't hold more for on site sale.

Yes and yes...probably. If regular KDS is not at some bottle shops in two weeks, it will likely still be at others, and certain grocery stores. As for coffee, if it's indeed being released on the 15th, then you shouldn't have too much trouble finding it--either at the brewery, bottle shops, or certain markets. Whether you intended to or not, you've timed your trip well.

We sell to Colorado because of our friendship with Crooked Stave and Left Hand and New Belgium....small amounts but fun.

Have no doubt, Oregon is our home territory and we and working our ass off to bring as much beer as possible to our sister state....a month or so and we will start with a limited draft program and will ramp up as we roll into 2016 and the new Brewhouse in August or so. Oregon is like family and we want to make sure we offer respect to our family when we ask to enter the house...do it right, you know.

We try to balance brewery sales with other sales so people who can't ,ale it to the Center of The Universe can have a shot...some stores order more than they should and the beer sits around for awhile but that just reflects our limited ability to control allocation...it's illegal and all.
