Art trades for fou foune x2 and veritas x2, in separate trades. So no,.....lol

Yeah that's crazy. I would wait it out a few months as it seems KR is increasing their capacity soon.

By pure blind luck, I won and picked up 18 bottles from Kern River Citra the last Sunday. It's by far my favorite beer. Definitely better than most of the top beers here in my opinion, but that's my opinion. I made a 5 hour drive one way to pick these beers up. Definitely worth the trip. If you haven't tried it, its definitely worth your while to give it a go at least once. I suppose traders asking for the moon because it's worth that much to them. As I said, in one of my other threads, if I don't get what I want in terms of a trade, I'll drink them myself. FYI.

Hope you get your Kern Citra. It is a great beer. The best Dipa/ipa, i don't think so. Worth the Huna and Pseudo I gave up (for multiple citras)? Who knows, that is personal preference. I have many others rated higher, king sue, mastermind, second fiddle, galaxy fort point... And yes, I like Psuedo Sue better, just my taste.

How much does it cost and how many were people able to buy when they won the lottery for it? Trying to land this one myself and looking to see what is a fair offer. Thx

Bottles were $51 or so for a six'er. So about $8.50 a bottle, but you're certainly not going to get it for $4$.

Around 350 or so lotto winners.

Thx. Would it go 1:1 with something like DL? Or more like 1:1 with a JK saison?

I traded for Citra the last three releases with...

    Iris 1:1
    Anna 1:1
    Cuvee Saint-Gilloise 1:1

It's my favoitre DIPA and that's the only reason I trade Cantillon for it.

You certainly could get it $4$ for the right bottle or with the right trader. I only trade $4$ and I'm sure there are others with the same M.O.

Probably, but it's one of those things that the factors of how to get it come into play. And while we shouldn't account for the drive/gas/etc, the distance Kern is from everything means that they're in the back of the mind and do factor in.

Also the $4$ on this is so low, that the flip side is you have to give up a couple to meet anything else that is the rarity for rarity on something like Citra.

Hope you bag one OP. Only HF Abner or some of the S&S beers rival KRBC Citra...Nothing else is close unfortunately. After seeing what a 550ml of Dinner goes for, I'm not sure why people have a hard time trading up for Citra...after all, it's way more limited and harder to get. All of this IMO.
