I actually think the ability to reply muttles the ISO:FT up. Trades that arent even getting done or are done with, but are hot topics are always at the top of the list and legitimate trades get pushed down out of site.

The reply function also allows you to close down a post when a trade is agreed upon, saving all parties time. In addition, the reply function was instrumental in my first trade or two as it allowed another seasoned trader, who I knew away from the boards, to post that I would be a trustworthy person to trade with. I can't say enough how amazing my start to this community has been and attribute a significant part of that positive experience to what was essentially a public welcoming/introduction.

You can delete your post once the deal is done.

Very true. I guess a couple times I have contacted the OP after a trade was taken down, but post still up, about keeping me in mind for a future trade!

    True.. True...

But, only a couple of those would get bumped with the banter and clog. Now there are even more "crazy" "nutty" unreasonable offerings clogging up the pipes. I mean it seems like some people are just posting outrageous ISO:FT's now and without the threat of public ridicule keeping them in check, they shall continue.

I guess no system is perfect but I personally vote open commenting.

To keep in BA spirit, I am drinking some fresh Alpine Bad Boy from a growler and it is fucking fantastic. Thanks SirWilliam!

    Cheers guys
