Kern Citra

Just completed one earlier today..Kern Citra is the one beer that's eluded me for a while now...

I haven't on this release yet but, the prior two releases I traded for Citra...

1:1 Cantillon Iris (I really wanted to try it for the first time and put up what could get a trade done quickly.)

On a previous release, I traded a Cantillon Classic 750 for a KR Citra and a Speedway Stout.

 

On the last release I did Arthur 1:1.

 

Many of the ISO's this go around seem very reasonable. Amazing beer, but it drops off quick. I traded for it with Nugget Nectar and Hopslam about 2 years ago, but that obviously won't be getting done these days.

 

Is Citra in 12 oz bottles now? If those are bombers, you got a hell of a deal!

 

I think Kern River only does bombers... I may be wrong though.

 

Seems fair to me. $4$ is about right on. Not sure what Citra sells for but Just Outstanding is only $5, so Citra is probably $7-$8. It's a great IPA, but it's just that, a great IPA, there's plenty of IPAs out there just as good.
