I received an email from BPT about a hour ago and it said:

"Hello everyone. We should have the lottery winners by friday and will notify everyone then. Thanks for registering."

    Cheers,

I talked to one of the Kern River guys at GABF & he mentioned 650 people entered the drawing & 300 will be picked.

If that is true that's much better odds than I imagined. Seems like a really low number of entries.

Jesus. Those are some really good odds. Give me that crow pie... well wait. I need to see if I actually won.

That breaks down to what, 1800 bottles/150 cases? Is my math right?

Look at the big brain on Brent.
Yes, your math is correct. They even upped the production this release. Previous releases have been in the 90 case range.

Those numbers seem too good to be true... I'll continue waiting with fingers crossed

If those odds are correct, then my hopes of getting some bottles just climbed higher. The cynic in me believes they'll simply have further to fall....

When this release was announced I did put the contingency plan in effect, though. Booked a room at one of the local inns in Kernville and plan to enjoy Citra on tap whether I get the bottles or not. Nice weekend out of town, awesome beer, and some beautiful day hiking. Bottles are icing on the cake.

Why not do 3 bottle limit for 600 peeps? Is the venue tiny?

Because it's out in the sticks. Depending on where you're coming from, you have to drive through a winding canyon road where rock slides aren't uncommon. Would you drive a couple hundred of miles and risk getting flattened by a boulder for 3 bottles?

anyone know if they're sending out rejection emails or just confirmation winner emails? I haven't received anything. Kind of assume you won't get an email unless you win.
