I know it's not a great beer but it was my best friends favorite through college and I cannot find it anywhere I used to buy it. It was always available in East Tx and Parts of Idaho. My buddy is getting married and I'd like to find it. I have searched forums and all over for 2 weeks. If anyone can tell me where I could buy Keystone Premium in the red can I would greatly appreciate it. Or if anyone knows if it was discontinued. Thanks
According to wikipedia. It's a Coors brand. Good luck. BTW, where are you? I think it is more prevalent in the north east, but IDK for sure.
I haven't seen that in quite awhile. My local Coors distributor no longer carries it, though I'm not sure if it's discontinued nation-wide.
I have never tried it. I was going to buy some when I visited Golden and toured the brewery but I could not find it anywhere in town. If they don't have it in Golden, I am guessing the Premium may be discontinued?
Still listed on MillerCoors' "OUR BEERS" webpage: Although the "Visit the Site" links to the Facebook page for Keystone Light. Call your local MillerCoors distributor - ask a local store who it is if you don't know or can't find it. See if they carry it. Or call MillerCoors Toll Free at 1 (800) 645-5376
Can you get this in Colorado? It’s looking like I’ll be out there in a few weeks and I’d like to try it.
I live in central Texas but I have family in Idaho and I haven't found it in either state. Thanks for the input I will call MillerCoors or a local distributor and go from there. If anyone comes across it let us know. Thanks again
Keystone (regular/premium?) was my personal favorite cheap beer during my freshman year in college in 1989-1990. Now lets keep this in perspective and the comparable options at the time for myself and friends budget were Busch Light, Busch, Milwaukee's Best, Milwaukee's Best Light, Keystone Light and Natty Bo. Coors, Miller and Bud were premium and generally out of our usual price range. Drank a whole lot of Keystone regular my 1st semester away, more than any other brew. Keystone Light was fine but was really watery (even then I could tell). Regular Keystone use to come in a silver and brown (or gold?) can. Only have seen Keystone light for the last 25+ years however.
