Hello. Staying in downtown Cleveland at the Crowne Plaza for two nights in August with a couple of kids. Wondering if anyone can suggest some kid friendly beer options nearby (restaurants/brewpubs/breweries)? Seems like there are a lot of threads on Cleveland, but I don't want to just assume my kids are welcome at places. Was planning on having dinner at Great Lakes one night, but that's all I've got at this point.

Evening dinner at GLBC can be rough--the place gets really crowded. If you can endure a potentially long wait by a small, crowded bar, you might be okay. If you have a large party of 8-12 then you can make reservations, but otherwise it's probably a bad idea with kids.

Fat Head's isn't downtown, about ~20 from Crowne, but is a major favorite for both beer and food, and they welcome plenty of kids...

Haven't seen a lot of kids at other places, but doesn't mean they aren't welcome. It's always worth calling ahead to check, as not every brewery around here allows under 21s.

Crowne Plaza Playhouse Square? I just stayed there, if so. Masthead is really close 3 blocks I think, they have pizza as a food option, so probably family friendly.

    Masthead is your best bet.
