I'm going to be making a short trip to Killlington later this month. What should be on my list of places in the immediate vicinity?

From reading the forum, I'm thinking Long Trail, Brewfest, Hops N Barley are good and close by. Agree/disagree? Anywhere else I should go?

Does Foley Bros serve food? I'll have kids in the car, so I won't be able to do more than a quick stop if there's no food.

Worthy Kitchen is in Woodstock, which isn't too far and may be on the way depending on where in MA you are coming from. Has awesome food and taplist.

Going to be in Killington with a large group of friends in a few weeks for a long weekend. I don't ski/board though, so I'm looking for a beer stop (preferably a killer bottle shop that will have Backacre) in the area to occupy myself and a buddy or two one afternoon. Driving up to HF or Fiddlehead is out (too far), so really looking for something within 30/45 min of Killington. I've done some searching and there doesn't seem to be much in the area. Any suggestions?

Brewfest in Ludlow typically carries it when it's available.

Yes Foley's does have a wood fired pizza going, although not sure if winter changes that. It's a bit of drive from K-mart…maybe 30-45 minutes depending where in Killington you are, but the beer is certainly worth it! They have a big complex with fields so my kids were able to run around & play lawn games during the summer/fall. Haven't been since so again, winter could change that dynamic.
A really good option maybe to stop at Hop N Moose in Rutland on the way back to Killington from Foley. Been there a couple times with the kids and they loved it. They had music playing once and so the kids could get up and dance. Foleys & Hop N Moose could be a good apres-ski trip!
