Hmm.. Maybe I'll give a call tomorrow morning to see if there's still anything left. My day is pretty wide open. Long drive to get some beer, but I've been wanting to try Bramble for a while.

if the 2011 keg isn't kicked on their growler station, i'll probably be back tomorrow. $40 for a 64oz growler may seem like a lot, but if you get a $20 32oz growler fill that is essentially the going NY/LI price for a GI 22oz bomber...so you are getting a bomber and a half of 2011 BCBS for $20. seems pretty fair to me, especially if you tasted the 2011 BCBS from the draft. it is perfect right now. granted you gotta drink it in a week or two, but that won't be a problem, the problem will be holding onto it for next weekend's Giant game.

I'm going to get flamed for saying this, but King Henry is the most over-rated beer I've ever had. Next time you open it, drink it side by side with another barley wine. We did a side by side with Sucaba and the firestone beer blew it away.

Maybe it was just the company that the beer was drank in as we did it at this tasting.

Heh-heh. Yeah, I guess that sounds bad. Alright, tell them... but after I get mine!

...and then I'll tell them how wonderful it was... (resumes evil-doing)

If coming out there didn't mean missing the Giants game, I would certain come grab a growler or two. '11 BCBS is drinking absolutely PERFECT right now.

I just say buy the rest of the keg.

Did a side by side with KH, Abacus, Mother of All Storms, and CW BBBW. KH was the clear winner, for all four us. To each their own.

Yeah, $100. Not sure how many they had, but no one bought one while I was there. Call and ask if they still have it.
