What should it take to get this done now? I keep seeing a lot of posts that this beer is falling off now, but I still really want to try it. Is this worth a Huna? 2 Huna? BORIS van Wink? All three or none of those? Just don't want to over trade or under trade (and have my post obliterated), but would still really love to get one before it's too late. Thanks for any help or advice. If you really really want to try this beer, and you are concerned that time is already and issue with it falling off, wouldn't it be reasonable to "over trade" for it as you put it? If you want the beer so bad, just go after it. Having said that, you would need more than 1 huna almost assuredly. 2 probably wouldn't get it done either, but you could maybe find the right person for that trade. It would help your odds if there were two different vintages. When you are going for one specific beer that hasn't been made in awhile, therefore the numbers have dwindled, your best bet is offering a decent list of other beers close to the same category (in this case, one offs or limited/brewery only beers) as that beer and hope you find someone who sees something on your list that catches their interest. Or a new release limited beer, etc etc. Good luck!
Honestly I don't think a Huna, two Huna, or BORIS Van Winkle would land a KH simply because you can get those bottles with lesser beers. Also a lot of people in the midwest have access to Abraxas, which is better than Huna.
